As more of our FZ’s consider or begin implementing Textiles processing, I am introducing B&C Technologies to the manufacturers mix. I found B&C during the completion of the fire restoration of one of their 200# machines. They provided absolutely superlative support, both parts and technical support during the comprehensive restoration of the machine, it included pneumatic tilt and steam. At no point did they question motives but just offered outstanding support and recommendations. During the restoration process – please recall that I am a Mechanical Engineer with design and manufacturing experience – I was particularly impressed with the design and construction of the machine. At the same time, we restored a Unimac 90# and had significantly more labor in that smaller, simpler machine than the B&C. Everything about the B&C was better, more industrial and overbuilt but easier to work on, repair and troubleshoot.
One of my requirements when I opted to install new equipment was the equipment NOT be made in China and the support be without question the best available as I prefer to complete my own installation and maintenance. B&C, headquartered in Panama City, FL fits those requirements and on top of that the equipment has high availability and very competitive pricing versus the best names in the industry. When I reached out to my main POC from the restoration project, Trampas Smith, I never again had to drive the boat. B&C’s Al Adcock got back to me within a couple of hours and then had me in contact with their Midwest representative – Corey Simonson owner of Prairie Commercial Laundry Services same day. Corey has been on top of the opportunity and I have not yet had to follow up. The customer service he has provided has just been spot on perfect. I have purchased a new 65# washer and new 75# dryer from B&C, the washer has been delivered and the dryer will be here the first week of May. As I mentioned to you, they also manufacture and sell large automatic drying cabinets.
I believe their commitment to quality and service should at least put them in our Minimum Requirements paperwork and believe strongly that all our FZ’s would benefit greatly from purchasing and deploying their equipment. I am confident that if a FZ were to contact them, most would move to go with them. I suspect they could put together a very attractive package deal that would be impossible to beat. I just cannot overemphasize how simple the B&C team made this for me.
